2. Visit at least three UK Seaside Piers (most have free entry)
3. Complete your PierCrawl Entry Form and post it to PIERCRAWL with cheque/PO for £2 made out to "Northern Writers."
4. The 2008 Great British PierCrawl lasts from 1st April to 30th October 2008. You must visit during this period.
There are 55 Seaside Pleasure Piers still in existence around the coasts of England & Wales. In 2007, author Chris Foote Wood visited all 55 (plus one on the Isle of Man). All these wonderful piers are lovingly described and illustrated in Chris's new book "WALKING OVER THE WAVES - Quintessential British Seaside Piers" to be published by Whittles Publishing in May 2008. Over 200 photographs, old & new. Order your signed copy of "Walking over the Waves" NOW by clicking HERE.
